856 for ZELLERSASN

The latest and greatest offering from mtl.asm. The 856 for ZELLERSASN is a looper and sample sequencer. Samples are taken of different parts of a loop and played back in various rhythms and at different pitches. A designed sequence can be stored and can be applied to new recordings (loops).

The pedal features MIDI input, and any parameter can be controlled by an external midi device.

The pedal is not true bypass but uses an all analog signal path for the dry loop.

Runs off 9VDC and requires 250 mA.

Check out these demonstration videos below and the manual to see more about the possibilities.

  17. Hey, just got one of these. I was curious if there was a difference between the 2017 and older versions?? I have the 2017 one. When I watch the tutorial vid and try to rest mine when i turn the gain knob all the way down the loop keeps going. I don't know if it's resetting or not. I do the whole thing with holding the uni down and clicking the feedback twice.

  18. Hey peeps, need some help. I'm confused about the zellersasn midi clock, I'm inputting midi clock from an rc202 + set zellersasn to external clock, but the loop/repeats of the zellersasn don't synch with my other midi pedals - 202, boss sl20 + volca beats. Should it? Or am I missing something? I've bought a second V2 zellersasn, as I thought this was an issue with v1, but both behave the same way... The beat light doesn't keep the same time as the sl20 or 202.....

  19. Hey there, is it possible to have a kill dry option in a future update? I'd love to run the pitch altered stutters I get from the 856 in parallel with some fuzz without the clean strumming coming through

  20. Hey, it's a great pedal thanks a lot! I would really wish for the option to play loops reversed. If this is possible to integrate in any firmware update it would be awesome!

  22. Hi. Scott & Assembly users

    I have the original 856 v1 from 2015 (version 0221)
After years of use it has just suddenly stopped working (insert sad face)
    I've never updated the firmware.
I've opened the unit up, unplugged every connector, even the large circuit board with multiple connectors and cleaned and reattached. All that happens is two red leds light up (located near the USB, above two blue trim pots)
One labelled COM blinks one labelled PWR stays solid. I think its the actual power socket, cause when I move it they go off and a green light on the opposite end lights up then immediately fades out. non of leds on the face of the unit light up either.

Any help with this would be fantastic. Its a devastating blow, I use this unit a lot.

    many thanks Adam
